FAQs
What is the declaration and in which way are copyrights of my Ph.D. Thesis secured?

Every doctoral dissertation must be documented in terms of copyright and license with a signed declaration in order to be included successfully in National Archive of Ph.D. Theses.   A draft of doctorate holder’s declaration is completed by the competent person of the Secretariat/ Hellenic N.A.R.I.C. according to the University’s Policy as far as the release date. Release date is the specific date on which the doctoral dissertation can be made available. This date cannot - in any case - be later than the release date which is the policy of the University within which the research is conducted. If the University’s Policy does not specify a time period, then the release date should be as short as possible and not longer than two years. Then, the doctorate holder fills the other declaration’s gaps as a necessary step for submitting his Ph.D. Thesis.
